RODE NTG8

The NTG8 is a broadcast shotgun microphone based on the NTG3 model, but with increased directivity across the entire frequency range. This makes it the perfect microphone for filming movie, television, and sports scenes and reports. It can also be used for any long-distance recording of objects or scenes.

Similar to the NT3, this microphone excels with low self-noise, natural sound without coloration on and off axis, and RF bias technology that ensures high resistance to humid environments. Even though it is a condenser microphone, it can withstand environments where other condenser microphones may fail.

The NTG8 has a matte black finish and comes with a special SM8 shock mount, which provides excellent vibration isolation, convenient cable routing, and allows for easy mounting of the microphone on various devices.

The microphone comes in a sturdy, water-resistant aluminum tube that protects the microphone during transport and storage. The last component of the package is the WSNTG8 wind shield.
