The RODE NTG-3 is the result of long-term development by RODE engineers and is designed for professional use in radio or television broadcasting, while remaining affordable.
Using technology known as RF bias, this microphone is completely resistant to moisture. This feature makes it the ideal microphone for working in demanding conditions where moisture would render other microphones inoperable.
In addition to its robust construction, the NTG-3 combines low weight (163 g), a special sun-resistant surface, low handling noise, and negligible self-noise (13 dBA). All these features place the new Rode NTG-3 at the forefront of A/V microphones.
For transport, the NTG-3 comes in a durable aluminum tube that provides sufficient protection against damage and dust.
