Product description

The NimbleTech EZCast ProAV over Ethernet Receiver ER02 is an AV-over-IP receiver for low-latency video and audio transmission over an Ethernet network. The built-in hardware decoder supports Full HD video at 60 fps; the HDMI 1.4 output offers up to 4K at 30 Hz. When used with a compatible ET02 transmitter, it extends the HDMI signal up to 180 m over a single Cat5e/100M Ethernet cable; the installation can utilize an existing L2 switch or router. Each individual monitor or TV requires its own ER02 receiver.

The system offers an extender, a 1:N splitter, an N:1 switch, and an M:N matrix configuration (up to 15 × 15 as specified in the manual), up to 255 Smart Channels, and KVM control via USB. When connected to a network, the ER02 can be managed via a web interface or through CMS for Windows/macOS. The receiver provides USB ports for a keyboard and mouse, an IR input, RS-232, and a stereo AUX output.

Connect as Needed

  • 1:1 Extender: The ET02 and ER02 can be connected directly via Ethernet.
  • 1:N Splitter: A single source can be distributed to multiple ER02 units via a switch or router.
  • N:1 Switcher and M:N Matrix: You can select the source or routing by changing the channel.
  • Each display requires its own ER02; the system supports up to 255 Smart Channels.

Control and Management

  • USB 2.0 for keyboard and mouse: The KVM controls the computer connected to the ET02.
  • IR input for remote control; RS-232 for device monitoring and control.
