The ES-2 supports both color and black-and-white film and produces digital images suitable for enlargements up to A1 size. Users can instantly review digitized images on the camera monitor or display them on a television using an HDMI connection (HDMI cable not included).

For Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras, compatible F-mount lenses can be attached using the FTZ Mount Adapter. Cameras without built-in negative digitizer functionality can still use the ES-2 adapter by manually inverting colors in editing software such as NX Studio.
