The Neumann KH 810 II AES67 is a high-performance DSP-controlled active studio subwoofer designed for immersive and reference monitoring systems up to 7.1.4. Featuring a 10-inch ELFF™ long-throw driver, ultra-low distortion bass extension down to 16 Hz, and fully redundant AES67 Audio-over-IP connectivity, it delivers precise, deep, and controlled low-frequency reproduction for advanced professional studio environments.
The Neumann KH 810 II AES67 is a flagship DSP-controlled active studio subwoofer engineered to meet the demands of modern stereo, surround, and immersive audio production workflows. Designed for recording, mixing, mastering, broadcast, and post-production environments, it combines extreme low-frequency accuracy with advanced digital networking and room calibration capabilities.
At its core, the KH 810 II AES67 features a newly developed 10-inch long-throw woofer equipped with ELFF™ (Extremely Linear Force Factor™) technology. This advanced driver design ensures extremely low distortion and high linearity even at high sound pressure levels, delivering tight, controlled bass with exceptional transient accuracy. The system extends down to 16 Hz, providing true reference-grade low-frequency reproduction for critical monitoring applications.
A powerful internal DSP engine transforms the KH 810 II AES67 into a central monitoring hub. It supports full 7.1.4 bass management, allowing seamless integration into stereo, surround, and immersive audio setups including Dolby Atmos workflows. The DSP also enables precise crossover control, phase alignment, and system-wide calibration through Neumann’s MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system, ensuring accurate adaptation to any acoustic environment.
The AES67 version introduces fully redundant Audio-over-IP connectivity, compliant with ST 2110 and ST 2022-7 standards, enabling robust integration into modern IP-based studio infrastructures. Dual Ethernet ports allow primary and backup network streams, while support for RAVENNA ensures compatibility with professional broadcast and production systems. The subwoofer can handle up to 12 channels of network audio, making it a powerful hub for complex multichannel routing.
Beyond immersive workflows, the KH 810 II AES67 also functions as a modernization bridge for legacy analog systems. Through its extensive analog and digital connectivity—including XLR, SUB-D 25 multichannel interfaces, and AES3 (BNC)—it can apply DSP-based room correction and crossover optimization to traditional Neumann monitors, significantly upgrading older studio setups.
The enclosure is constructed from a highly rigid, resonance-optimized cabinet designed to minimize unwanted vibration and standing waves. Combined with internal acoustic isolation, this ensures clean, tight bass response with excellent transient behavior even at high output levels.
