The Meike 8 mm F3,5 rybí oko is a manual-focus 8 mm prime for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Its f/3.5 aperture leaves room to work in poor light and to separate the subject from the background.

Optics and rendering

The optical design uses 11 elements in 8 groups, with a 9-blade diaphragm that keeps out-of-focus highlights round. The aperture runs from f/3.5 to f/22, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.10 m.

Handling and build

Focus and aperture are set by hand; the lens has no electronic contacts, so the camera must be set to release without a lens. The filter thread is — and it weighs about 540 g.
