Mackie CR4-XBT 4" Powered Studio Monitors with Bluetooth (pair)

A pair of active monitors with a 4-inch woofer and a silk dome tweeter. They can be connected via a 6.3 mm jack, RCA, 3.5 mm jack, or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0.

The CR4-XBT is a pair of monitors from the Creative Reference series—designed for use in environments where you both listen and work: with a computer, a game console, or for home recording.

The woofer features a 102 mm (4") polypropylene-coated cone, while the tweeter is a 19 mm silk dome cooled by ferrofluid. The crossover frequency is 3 kHz. The Class D amplifier delivers a peak power of 50 W.

The frequency response ranges from 65 Hz to 20 kHz (−3 dB), extending down to 55 Hz at −10 dB. The bass is extended by a tuned port on the rear panel, while the treble is distributed via a shaped waveguide to ensure sound quality even off-axis.

There are plenty of input options: a balanced 6.3 mm jack, RCA, a 3.5 mm jack, and Bluetooth 5.0. On the front panel is a headphone output that automatically mutes the speakers when headphones are plugged in.

Of the pair, one speaker is active and the other is passive; they are connected using the included cable. The cabinets are made of MDF, and the front features a brushed metal panel.
