It is sturdy, made from 86% recycled fabric* with 100% recycled 420D Nylon Oxford and 420D Nylon Diamond Ripstop with a carbonate outer surface, and includes an All Weather AW cover that protects your gear from rain, snow, and dust.

The ideal backpack for multi-day expeditions

The Lowepro PhotoSport PRO 55L AW IV (S-M) is designed for longer photography trips and expeditions where you need to have your personal gear and photography equipment neatly stored in one backpack. It includes a GearUp protective insert that keeps your equipment safe during transport.

The backpack offers a number of practical pockets and compartments, including a side pocket for a 3-liter hydration bladder, two external elastic mesh pockets, a bottom compartment for a sleeping bag, and a smaller pocket on the top lid for small items. The main compartment can hold a tent, food, clothing, and other camping equipment. The large elastic pocket on the front is suitable for a jacket, rope, or helmet, for example. Thanks to the strap system, you can carry your smartphone, camera, or GearUp box in various ways, and hiking poles can be easily attached to the front of the backpack.

GearUp PRO XL insert

The GearUp PRO XL serves as a practical solution for safely storing a camera, drone, or other electronics. It can be inserted into a larger photo backpack, hiking or travel bag to keep your equipment organized.

It can hold a full-frame mirrorless camera or DSLR with a grip and a lens up to 70-200 mm f/2.8, two additional lenses with accessories, or a compact drone such as the Mavic Pro 2. Durable, water-repellent nylon combined with padding provides a high level of protection. The bright interior also makes it easy to find your way around even in poor lighting conditions.

Functional and sustainable design

The PhotoSport PRO 55L AW IV is part of the Green Line series and is made from 86% recycled materials. The fabrics used—420D Nylon Oxford and 420D Nylon Diamond Ripstop—ensure low weight, strength, and durability.

The water-resistant surface is wear-resistant and, thanks to a special treatment, dirt, dust, and mud can be easily washed off. The bottom of the backpack is reinforced for greater abrasion resistance. Access to your gear from both the front and back makes it easy to use the GearUp PRO XL insert according to your preferences. The top entry with a roll-top closure and removable lid allows you to increase the volume if necessary. It also includes a bright orange rain cover that protects your gear and can serve as an emergency signaling device.
