Libec TH-M Monopod

The HFMP Hands-Free Monopod is a professional video monopod that is specially designed for free-stand operations. It consists of the HFMP Hands-Free Monopod and a carrying case – a fold-out mini tripod base lets it stand on its own and locks with a foot pedal. Payload is 8 kg including head, weight 1.8 kg, height 73.5 to 175.5 cm.

The Libec TH-M is a monopod with a fold-out mini tripod in its base that keeps standing hands-free. As the successor to the HFMP, it locks with a foot pedal, pans smoothly on a ball joint and takes heads on a 1/4" or 3/8" screw. It carries 8 kg including the head, weighs 1.8 kg and adjusts from 73.5 to 175.5 cm.

Perfect Lock

When you lock the bottom of the monopod with the foot pedal, the ball joint locks too. Head pans become smoother, so you can pull focus while panning.

Legs at the push of a button

The base legs open and close at the push of a button for quick setup and packing. The base is easy to clean when dirt gets in.

Height by the scale

Numeric markings on the sections show your preferred height, so it is quick to find when you adjust often. Lever locks hold the sections.

Hands free between shots

The mini tripod in the base keeps the monopod and camera standing, so you can adjust equipment between shots without laying it down or leaning it against a wall.

Pedals on three sides

Lock pedals sit symmetrically on three sides of the base.

Ball joint

A lubricated, dust-protected ball joint gives smooth movement.

1/4" and 3/8" screw

A storable 3/8" socket covers the 1/4" screw for both kinds of gear.

34 mm pipes

Aluminium pipes of 34, 29.5 and 25 mm diameter.

Pan-Tilt Head (HFMP KIT only). Unlike other photo/video heads included with monopod kits, this head has tilt and pan functions, and has a dual head structure (flat base/65mm bowl), making the head compatible with 65mm bowl/flat base tripods, monopods, sliders, skater dollies, and other equipment with 3/8 inch screws. The Kit also contains a one touch on/off sliding plate compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler heads, enabling quick equipment swaps without the need to change sliding plates on-site.
