The RODE Lavalier is a discreet lapel microphone with broadcast-quality sound and a MiCon™ output connector.
The RODE Lavalier is a discreet lapel microphone with broadcast-quality sound and a MiCon™ output connector.
This miniature omnidirectional microphone with low noise and user-friendly design is the ideal solution for film, television, video, theater, churches, and anywhere else where high-quality sound is required, but maximum discretion or "invisibility" of the microphone is essential.
The microphone capsule is connected via a 1.2 m shielded cable reinforced with Kevlar®, which has been rigorously tested up to a weight of 10 kg to ensure long-term reliability.
The package includes a foam pop filter that minimizes wind noise and plosive consonants ("b," "t," and "p"), as well as a sturdy mounting clip with integrated cable routing. Thanks to its Kevlar reinforcement, the cable is very durable and designed to be easy to work with.
The included waterproof case, which can withstand even the hardest impacts, provides robust and secure protection for the microphone, cable, clips, and included accessories.
The microphone's strength lies in its high connectivity variability, thanks to the MiCon™ connector system developed by RØDE. This allows for seamless integration of the Lavalier with a wide range of wireless systems, as well as cameras, camcorders, and portable recorders.
Option to order a specific type of MiCon connector according to your needs.
