The Kramer C-XLQM/XLQF-25 is a professional-grade mic and line level audio cable, 7.6 m (25 ft) long, with an XLR male connector on one end and an XLR female on the other. Its four-core star quad design with mutually offsetting twisting reduces induced noise to a tenth of the level of a regular two-pair balanced cable. Suited to studios, stages and fixed installations.
A C-XLQM/XLQF cable links a microphone, mixing console, preamp or powered speaker with a balanced signal. Four conductors arranged in a star quad cancel interference before it can reach the audio path.

Mutually offsetting twisting of the four cores cancels electromagnetically induced noise from fluorescent lighting ballasts and AC power transformers, down to a tenth of the level of a regular two-pair balanced microphone cable.
The four-conductor arrangement balances out interference from the surroundings, so hum stays out of the signal.
Large numbers of thin bare copper strands in both the conductors and the shield make the cable supple.
Excellent electrical characteristics and no shrink-back during soldering.
The connectors are hand-soldered; the C-XLQM/XLQF series is made in many lengths.

A 3-pin XLR male on one end and an XLR female on the other, so the cable extends or links a standard mic run.
The 25 ft (7.6 m) Kramer Electronics XLR 3-pin male to XLR 3-pin female quad style cable is designed for microphone or line level audio interconnections. The cable uses four cores of copper, wound in two parallel pairs, which keep electromagnetically induced noise from environmental sources such as AC transformers and fluorescent light ballasts from interfering with the audio signal.
The quad-core design can reduce induction levels by up to 90% when compared to a regular two-pair balanced microphone cable. Additionally, the cable features hand-soldered XLR connectors, XLPE insulation with no shrink-back during soldering, and a large number of thin bare copper wire strands to improve cable flexibility.
