The RØDE K2 is a premium large-diaphragm valve condenser microphone with a continuously variable polar pattern from omnidirectional through cardioid to figure-8.
One microphone, continuously variable directionality
A control on the power supply continuously adjusts the polar pattern to suit the room, source and desired amount of ambience.
Warm valve detail
A one-inch gold-sputtered capsule, hand-selected 6922 twin-triode valve and audiophile components create a rich, detailed sound.
For delicate and very loud sources
A 162 dB maximum SPL and 10 dBA self-noise give the K2 an exceptional operating range for vocals, piano, drums, cabinets and acoustic ensembles.
