If a lens gets damaged by accident, you do not have to wait for a repair – replace it yourself in a few simple steps, at a lower cost than a repair.

The single kit is meant for replacing one lens – typically the one that took the knock in a fall.

The installation tool seats the lens on the camera. Follow the included instructions and their precautions.

Replaceable Lenses 2.0

The X6 lenses are 5× more scratch-resistant than on the X5, were lab-tested with over 2,000 strokes of steel wool and are easier to replace.

Clean place, humidity below 70%

Do the swap in a clean, low-dust environment with humidity below 70%.

Service with no labour fee

If your camera is eligible for lens-only replacement, you can send it in together with the kit and Insta360 will replace the lens without a labour fee; without the kit lens, the lens is charged extra.
