The Insta360 GPS Preview Remote 2.0 is a wireless remote control with a preview screen, a built-in microphone, and GPS for the Insta360 X5, X4 Air, and Ace Pro 2 cameras. It allows you to preview the shot and control the camera remotely, record audio in 24-bit or 32-bit floating-point mode with two levels of noise reduction, and log GPS data on route, speed, and direction. Live view and settings work up to 100 m, while camera control and audio transmission work up to 160 m in open space without interference.

The GPS Preview Remote 2.0 combines a remote control, live view, wireless microphone, and GPS tracking into a single wrist-worn device. It’s designed for the Insta360 X5, X4 Air, and Ace Pro 2. The touchscreen lets you check your composition and adjust settings when the camera is mounted out of arm’s reach.

The built-in microphone offers two noise-cancellation modes and recording in 24-bit or 32-bit floating-point format. The controller records your route, speed, and direction, which can be synced with your video in the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio. Range varies depending on obstacles and radio interference: preview and settings up to 100 m; camera control and audio transmission up to 160 m. The controller is IP68-rated to a depth of 1.5 m for 30 minutes; it is not intended for swimming or diving.
