The adapter adds a 3.5mm input for an external microphone and a separate USB-C port for charging the camera. It works with the Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2.
Two separate connectors
Plug the microphone into the 3.5mm audio jack. The USB-C port on the adapter is used to power the camera while using an external microphone.
Direct connection to the camera
Remove the camera’s USB-C cover, firmly insert the adapter into the connector, and make sure it’s secure. Then plug the microphone cable into the 3.5mm input.
