Product description

A power adapter with a D-Tap connector on one end and a dummy NP-FW50 battery on the other. The Sony camera runs on a large battery instead of its own rechargeable battery.

The dummy battery is inserted into the battery compartment in place of the NP-FW50 battery and connected to a large battery—typically a V-Mount on the rig—using a cable with a D-Tap connector. This allows the camera to last through the entire shoot without needing a battery change.

The coiled cable extends only to the required length and otherwise does not get in the way of the setup. The voltage is fixed, so there is no need to adjust anything.
