The XF 23mm F2 R WR lens was designed as a compact and versatile model that is equivalent to a 35mm focal length.

It offers the ideal balance between portability and speed, allowing you to take full advantage of Fujifilm's X-Trans CMOS sensor. It is similar in appearance and size to the XF 35mm F2, making it a stylish pair of compact F2 lenses. Autofocus uses an internal focusing system and stepper motor to ensure quiet and fast operation, with focusing in just 0.05 seconds. The lens contains 10 elements arranged in 6 groups, including two aspherical elements. These elements are optimally positioned to ensure uniform sharpness across the entire image area. The aspherical elements are part of the focusing group, which helps minimize variations in performance at different focal lengths.

Super EBC coating on the optical elements eliminates flare, improving contrast and colour fidelity. The metal lens body feels high quality and robust, thanks in part to the design of the aperture and focus ring, which provide comfortable operation. The lens is also weather, dust and cold temperature resistant down to -10°C, making it ideal for use in harsh outdoor conditions.
