SHAPE Female Spigot 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20

The SHAPE metal adapter has two internal threads: one side accepts a 3/8"-16 screw, and the other accepts a 1/4"-20 screw. It thus connects an accessory with an external screw to a mount that also has an external screw.

The Spigot SHAPE is a simple metal adapter that solves the problem of two external threads facing each other with nothing to connect to. One end has a 3/8"-16 internal thread, and the other has a 1/4"-20 internal thread.

It is most commonly used when an accessory has its own external mounting screw and the support—such as a tripod, ball head, C-stand, or light stand—also has an external screw. The spigot screws them together while converting one thread size to the other.

It is made entirely of metal, and its dimensions allow it to fit even into setups where there is limited space around the screw.
