Product description
The DZOFILM Pavo Macro 65mm T2.8 is a 2× anamorphic macro lens for Super 35 (31.5mm image circle). It focuses down to 0.366m from the sensor plane at 1:2 magnification and, after de-squeeze, delivers a 2.39:1 widescreen frame with Neutral horizontal flares. Interchangeable PL/EF mount, imperial focus scale, about 1,963g. The lens is 160mm long.
Anamorphic macro at 1:2
The Pavo Macro 65mm adds close-up work to the series, capturing small objects and details from a natural point of view. Its 95mm front diameter, M86 thread and 0.8 gears match the other Pavo lenses, which speeds up lens changes on set.

Close-up capability familiar from spherical lenses is combined here with the 2× anamorphic effect, giving details a dramatic cinematic look.
Focus from 0.366m
Close focus is 0.366m (1 ft 2.4 in) from the sensor plane, with 300° focus rotation.
16-blade iris
Manual iris with 73° rotation, range T2.8–T22; the 16 blades deliver the classic oval bokeh.
Built-in back-focus adjustment
The back focus can be fine-tuned precisely while the lens is mounted on the camera.
Full frame with the Marlin 1.6×
With the DZOFILM Marlin 1.6× expander (sold separately) the lens can also be used on full-frame cinema cameras.
PL mount
With the PL mount and its 52mm flange distance the lens fits cinema cameras. The focus scale is imperial (feet and inches).
EF mount in the box
Besides the PL mount, the box includes an interchangeable EF mount with a 44mm flange distance, plus a screwdriver and shims for the swap. The Pavo Interchangeable Mount Kit for the 65/135/180mm focal lengths is sold as a spare part.
