DZOFILM Arles Lustre 4-Lens Set 25/35/50/75mm T1.6 PL mount Metric Desert Gold

The DZOFILM Arles Lustre set contains 4 cine lenses, 25/35/50/75mm, in Desert Gold for Full Frame and Vista Vision. A unique coating formula gives warm amber flares and a soft glow in the highlights. The lenses have a PL mount with metric scales, a 95mm front diameter and matching gear positions, and come in a hard case.

A 4-lens set in a case

The set contains the 25, 35, 50, 75mm focal lengths in a hard DZOFILM carrying case. All lenses cover a 46.5mm image circle (Vista Vision and Full Frame) and share a 95mm front diameter and gear positions, so swapping between them costs no time.

The Lustre look: a warm amber glow

A unique coating formula produces expressive amber flares and a soft glow in the highlights, gentle contrast and a touch of nostalgia. Warm flares mix with bluish-purple tones, soften skin texture and keep the image between classic and contemporary. The series was developed with more than 20 cinematographers from art-house film, period drama and fashion advertising.

T1.6 and working with light

T1.6 is enough in low light and, with the large Vista Vision format, gives a shallow depth of field and strong spatial depth. The reworked optical design controls flare better, the soft contrast keeps shadow detail, and focus breathing is minimal. The 16-blade iris renders soft, layered bokeh.

Mechanics for cinema production

A 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears in the same position on every focal length and a 270° focus throw – swap lenses without moving the follow focus or matte box. The focus scale is interchangeable (metric / imperial), the native mount is PL with optional EF and LPL kits, and the lenses work with DZOFILM KOOP rear magnetic filters.

Desert gold, limited edition

The body is finished in sand gold with a matte front that cuts reflections on set. The series is a limited edition of 100 complete 14–180mm sets and 50 single lenses in 25/35/50/75mm. The lenses weigh 1.4–1.9kg and suit shoulder rigs, handheld, gimbals, technocranes and robotic arms.

Optics

Edge-to-edge sharpness even wide open is good enough for 12K capture. On the 25mm: Two aspherical elements correct spherical aberration and coma, eliminate onion-ring bokeh and reduce wide-angle distortion and astigmatism.
