CineBloom — diffusion filter, scatters the light gently and softens the image.
A diffusion filter scatters the light passing through and takes the hard edges off the picture without blurring it. Highlights around lamps and reflections bleed into a gentle glow, skin softens and the image picks up the feel of older lenses. The effect happens in the glass itself, so it responds to the real light in the scene.
Twenty per cent is the stronger of the two strengths offered: highlights bloom noticeably, hard edges soften and lines or skin texture recede. It shows at a glance, so it suits portraits, night lights and shots meant to look cinematic rather than documentary-sharp.
