The DJI LiDAR Range Finder (RS) brings highly accurate, cinema-style autofocus to DJI RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbals, even when using manual lenses or shooting in low-light environments. Utilizing 43,200 LiDAR ranging points across a detection range of up to 46 feet (14 m), it delivers stable, reliable focus without relying on subject texture. A built-in camera with a 30mm equivalent focal length and a wide 70° field of view ensures precise subject detection across most shooting scenarios. The range finder supports both Wide Mode for automatic subject detection and Spot Mode for manual focus control, offering flexibility for different creative needs. When paired with the DJI Focus Motor, it enables smooth, calibrated autofocus on manual lenses, while also supporting autofocus lenses with manual or hard-stop options. Designed for seamless integration, it mounts via cold shoe or 1/4"-20 thread and powers directly from the camera via USB-C, making it a compact and efficient addition to professional gimbal workflows.
