The Datavideo TP-650 MARK II is a studio teleprompter for hosts, speakers, and production teams. Thanks to its height-adjustable system, it supports cameras ranging from DSLRs to ENG cameras in its standard configuration; it can also be set up as a freestanding unit. It is designed for tablets with a width of 145–265 mm, including the 12.9″ iPad Pro. The dvPrompter Plus app allows you to adjust the reading speed, font size, and font color. The low-iron mirror glass displays text without any color cast. A tripod and the optional WR-500 controller are not included.

Teleprompter for Studio and Field Use

The Datavideo TP-650 MARK II makes it easier for hosts, speakers, and television and production teams to read from a script. It is designed for both studio and on-location filming and can be set up in a standard configuration in front of the camera or as a freestanding teleprompter. You can adjust the scroll speed, font size, and color to suit a specific presenter and filming style.

The mirror, made of high-quality, low-iron glass, has no unwanted color cast. A tripod is not included.

Standard and Freestanding Setups

The multi-position height adjustment system allows for the placement of a wide range of cameras—from DSLRs to ENG cameras—in the standard setup. The teleprompter can be mounted on a tripod or stand; in freestanding mode, it can be used with any camera. Height adjustment makes it easy to align the optical axes of the camera, mirror, and text across various production setups.

Tablets up to 15.6″

The mount accommodates tablets with a width of 145 to 265 mm when measured in portrait orientation; large tablets, including the 12.9″ iPad Pro, are compatible. The teleprompter is compatible with Apple iPad and Android devices and supports all languages encoded in Unicode. The dvPrompter Plus app allows you to adjust the reading speed, font size, and color; it also supports formatted text, script lists, and PowerPoint or Keynote presentations.

Remote Script Control

The optional WR-500 remote control operates the dvPrompter Plus app via a wired connection or Bluetooth. It allows you to pause and resume scrolling, change the speed and font size, jump to a marker in the script, and switch between scripts in the list. You can also control and monitor the teleprompter over a local network using a modern web browser. Remote control via IP, synchronization of multiple tablets, and other features may require in-app purchases.

dvPrompter Plus supports real-time remote script editing, image insertion, playlists, and presentations. Images can be controlled using the WR-500 remote or the web interface and combined with text scripts in the list.
