CONST D-Tap connector, male

A standalone male D-Tap (P-Tap) connector designed for mounting on a cable. It plugs into the D-Tap socket on a battery plate or a V-mount battery to draw DC power from it.

A D-Tap—also known as a P-Tap—is a connector used in film equipment to draw power directly from a battery or a battery pack. This part is the male connector itself—that is, the part that plugs into the socket.

It is used in the manufacture and repair of power cables—when you need to make a custom cable for a monitor, transmitter, recorder, or light, or when the original connector on a finished cable has been damaged and it makes sense to replace just that part.

The connector is sold separately, without a cable.
