Cartoni P90 HP Pedestal

Cartoni P90 HP is a two-stage pneumatic pedestal for studio and OB use that carries camera and lens combinations up to 90 kg (198 lb). The column gives a smooth, precise on-shot stroke of 77 cm, from 66 to 143 cm. The dolly with chain-linked double wheels tracks and steers accurately even on shot, and its crab position gets through narrow doorways. A hand pump is included.

Heavy camera, light movement

The pedestal covers the whole range of studio and OB configurations while staying compact and portable. The innovative piston avoids complicated balance settings, and six 1.25 kg weights fine-tune the balance as the temperature changes.

Two-stage pneumatic column

The 77 cm stroke runs smoothly and precisely on shot across the whole height range – on nitrogen or compressed air from a compressor or hand pump.

Steer and crab

Chain-linked double wheels track straight, steer and crab.

Narrow doorways

In the doorway position the dolly narrows to 66.7 cm.

Controls within reach

All controls and the display are at the operator’s hand; the steering ring is removable.

Flat base

Flat base, 4-bore heads mount directly; bowl heads via an adapter.

Chain-linked dolly

Double wheels linked by a chain hold their line when tracking and steering.

Heavy-duty wheels

The P90 HP can be fitted with larger, higher 160 mm wide wheels for OB vans and studios.
