The Cartoni Lambda 10 is the most compact of the Cartoni nodal heads, for cameras up to 10 kg. Its L-shaped aluminium tubes with sliding adjustment let you centre the camera perfectly, so no counterbalance is needed: once set on its centre of gravity, the camera moves freely in pan and tilt. Two patented fluid modules give 3 steps plus 0.
A nodal head for tight spaces
The Lambda 10 has a 100 mm bowl and fits any 100 mm bowl base. It is ideal for tabletop work, medical documentaries and underslung use from jib arms, cranes, sliders or dollies, and it matches the Cartoni JibO perfectly.

The camera turns around its nodal point
Once centred on its centre of gravity, the camera rotates exactly around its optical centre, so pans and tilts stay free of parallax – ideal for effects and composited shots.
No counterbalance needed
A balanced camera moves freely, so the head needs no counterbalance.
Two fluid modules
Patented Cartoni modules offer three drag steps plus 0 for free movement.
Underslung use
The head can be used underslung from cranes, jib arms or on dollies, giving positions a conventional head cannot reach.
Matches the Cartoni JibO
The Lambda 10 is an ideal head for the Cartoni JibO arm.
L-shaped frame
Sturdy aluminium tubes form an L-shaped frame along which the camera slides into its centre of gravity.
Sliding adjustment
Sliding blocks on the tubes let you fine-tune the camera position until it is perfectly balanced.
