The BOSS FS-6 houses two footswitches, A and B, in a single metal enclosure. Each can work as a latch type (FS-5L) or a momentary type (FS-5U), so the FS-6 controls instruments, rhythm machines, guitar amps and other gear with a footswitch control input.
Latch or momentary set separately for A and B, adjustable polarity and connection over a single stereo cable.

Jacks A and B each control one device, while the A & B jack (1/4-inch TRS) carries both switches over a single stereo cable to gear with a TRS input.
The MODE switches set latch or momentary operation for each footswitch. The indicator above the pedal shows whether the switch is on.
Power turns on automatically as soon as a cable is plugged into a jack. When the POWER indicator dims, it is time to replace the 9 V battery.
The FS-6 combines the functions of the FS-5L latch-type and FS-5U momentary-type footswitches. For extended control it can be connected to another FS-6, to FS-5U/FS-5L footswitches or to an AB-2.
POLARITY switches match each footswitch to the requirements of the connected device.
An alkaline 9 V battery lasts up to 100 hours of continuous use.
Gear with a TRS input needs just one cable with stereo plugs at both ends.
