Four SSDs Right in the Editing Suite

The rack-mount dock provides access to four 2.5-inch SATA SSDs via a pair of high-speed 10 Gb/s USB-C ports. Each bay has its own controller, and the drives can be distributed between two computers.

One or Two Host Systems

All four bays can work with a single computer, or they can be divided into two independent pairs. This is useful for parallel ingest, reviewing footage, and transferring media between workstations.

Quick SSD swapping without unnecessary copying

The Blackmagic MultiDock 10G is a professional docking station for four 2.5-inch SSDs with a fast 10 Gb/s USB-C interface. The 1 RU metal chassis is designed for permanent installation in a studio, post-production facility, or broadcast van.

Independent controllers: Each drive has its own SATA controller for maximum throughput. You can edit footage directly from the inserted SSDs and work with even the most demanding video formats without first copying them to internal storage.

A rear switch allows you to connect all four drives to a single computer or split the bays into two pairs served by two separate 10 Gb/s USB-C buses. This enables two users to work with different media simultaneously.

LEDs on the front panel indicate the activity of individual drives. Removable SSDs from cameras, HyperDeck recorders, or field data stations can be inserted without additional frames or adapters.

The built-in network power supply ensures a stable power supply to all four drives simultaneously, including workflows that use multiple media at once.
