Blackmagic Design MultiDock 10G

The Blackmagic MultiDock 10G is a 1RU rack dock for four 2.5″ SATA SSDs that you connect with a single 10 Gb/s USB-C cable. Every bay has its own SATA controller and a switch on the back splits the disks between one or two computers. You edit media from cameras and HyperDeck recorders directly from the disks, without copying and without installing software.

One computer or two

A slide switch on the back connects all four bays to one USB-C port or splits the disks into two pairs for two computers.

Independent controllers

Every bay has its own SATA controller, so speed is not held back by shared SATA bandwidth.

For HyperDeck Extreme

Connect it to the External Disk port of a HyperDeck Extreme 8K recorder to add SSD compatibility.

Edit straight from the disks

The SSDs mount like regular disks on Mac and Windows. In DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and others you edit directly from the disks you recorded on.

All metal rack mount design

The compact 1RU chassis mounts in standard racks. LEDs at every bay show disk activity, the socket connector in each bay can be replaced and the integrated power supply powers all four disks at once. You can also insert 2.5″ hard disks into the bays for low cost backup.
