The MFT mount cap is an original Blackmagic Design part for cameras with an MFT mount. You put it on the empty mount whenever there is no lens on the camera, and it protects the space behind the mount, including the sensor and internal electronics, from dust and dirt during storage and transport. It is made only for the MFT mount; other mounts have their own caps.

Never leave an open mount without its cap
Between lens changes, in the bag and in transit, the cap covers the opening into the camera and keeps dust away from the sensor.
Protects the MFT mount
The cap goes straight onto the MFT mount of the camera when no lens is attached. It is not a front lens cap but a part that covers the camera body itself.
The right mount matters
Every mount has its own cap. The MFT mount cap does not fit the other mounts (EF, PL, B4) and they cannot be swapped – check which mount your camera has before ordering.
