The Blackmagic Camera ProDock turns your iPhone into a professional production camera: it adds connections for HDMI monitoring, microphone, headphones, genlock, timecode, external disks and power. It works with the Blackmagic Camera app for iOS, and its three USB-C ports let you connect recording media and control accessories at the same time. Power management makes sure everything can run together.
A dock with connections for a professional rig: HDMI 2.1 for a monitor, BNC for genlock and timecode, a microphone input, a headphone output, three USB-C ports and a locking 12 V power input.

Genlock is supported on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. All the other dock functions also work on the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
The BNC genlock input accepts Tri-Sync or Black Burst, and a separate BNC input accepts timecode; timecode can also be fed through the 3.5 mm audio input. Genlock also lets you shoot LED walls without distracting flicker or tearing, which matters for virtual production.

A full size HDMI 2.1 Type A port sends the picture to an external monitor at the resolution and frame rate set in Blackmagic Camera for iOS, so the crew can see the shot from any position.

Two high speed USB 3.2 ports are for external media and the third, a USB 2.0 port, is for accessories. Recording goes to the iPhone’s internal storage or to a disk connected via USB. The locking 5.5 mm input accepts 12–15 V DC and each USB-C port supplies up to 5 V / 1.5 A / 7.5 W.

Connect a microphone to the 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack input (or via USB-C) and headphones to the 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack output. With an ATEM Mini switcher, video, tally and camera control travel over a single HDMI cable; a Blackmagic Focus Demand and Zoom Demand can be connected to a USB-C port.
