Canare L-2.5CHD is a thin 75-ohm installation coaxial cable from the Super Coax series, designed for the transmission of professional SDI video signals. Thanks to its low attenuation, foam PE insulation, solid center conductor, and shielding that combines aluminum foil with dense tinned copper braiding, it is particularly suitable for fixed 3G-SDI/HD-SDI installations.
Canare also offers a 12G-SDI solution for the L-2.5CHD cable with Micro BNC connectors and a sweep test up to 12 GHz. According to Canare’s methodology, the typical transmission distance for 12G-SDI 4K-UHD is approximately 43 m, and for 3G-SDI 1080p approximately 69 m. The actual usable distance always depends on the specific camera, converter, monitor, router, or other signal receiver.
