AirHed Cine Arca is the first dedicated video head from 3 Legged Thing that any amateur or professional videographer or photographer will appreciate. The precision milled aerospace magnesium alloy casting features a solid and very distinctive design that slightly evokes the appearance of a spider web from the insect kingdom. You can easily attach a CSC/DSLR camera or other equipment to this head with 1/4" and 3/8" screws, when it offers a solid load capacity of up to 10 kg. The top of the board is fitted with rubberised pads that effectively prevent the camera from slipping off the board, thus minimising the risk of it falling off and being damaged as a result.

Furthermore, the head has an adjustable tilting mechanism to allow smooth movement. This mechanism can then be controlled either straight ahead or by the included panning arm, which can be mounted on either side of the head for both right- and left-handed holding. The head has a friction control for the tilting mechanism, a knurled clamping knob for a better grip, a lever effect and a knurled base rotatable a full 361° which can be locked as required. This makes the head ideal for both horizontal and vertical photography, which you'll especially appreciate when shooting a variety of buildings, the sky or a large group of people.

Large knobs control pan and orbit rotations, and a smaller knob secures the Arca Swiss locking plate for fast and silky smooth operation. The ergonomic 2-degree bubble grip ensures the tripod can be used even in inclement weather, so you don't have to worry too much about the weather forecast. The head side includes a 1/4"-20 stainless steel thread for attaching accessories such as various articulating arms and more, and there are built-in spirit levels in the clamp and base for highly accurate and extremely level shots in any situation. The AirHed Cine Arca can then be purchased separately or as part of a package with basic tripods such as the Mike or Jay.
