The EW-D CI1 SET (R4-9) is a digital wireless instrument system for guitar and other instruments with a 6.3 mm output. It includes the EW-D EM rack receiver, a robust EW-D SK bodypack transmitter and the CI 1 instrument cable. The R4-9 version operates across 552–607.8 MHz within Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital.

The complete EW-D CI1 set combines a rack receiver, bodypack transmitter and CI 1 cable for everyday stage use. Automated pairing and the EW-D Smart Assist app simplify setup and control.

Digital UHF wireless reduces noise, interference and static bursts. The R4-9 band provides 56 MHz bandwidth, up to 2,240 selectable frequencies and up to 90 channels; the transmitter delivers a 134 dB dynamic range. An optional BA 70 rechargeable battery supports up to 12 hours of operation, or up to 8 hours with AA cells.
