TheSamyang 50mm T1.5 AS UMC is carefully designed for creating professional-quality movies and videos. You can change the aperture smoothly and quietly using the detachable aperture ring. Distance scales and "T" values are marked on both sides of the lens for easy handling

The design of this lens consists of 9 elements in 6 groups including 1 aspherical element (ASP) and 1 hybrid aspherical element (H-ASP) in order to offer the highest possible resolution.Thehybrid aspherical element reduces colour aberration to ensure perfect image quality and high contrast to the centre and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully open

Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) coating is applied to optimize light transmission and reduce unwanted flares and shadows. Thanks to this optical design, it has a minimum focusing distance of 0.45m to capture subjects at close range
