Meike 85 mm F1,4 AF at a glance

The Meike 85 mm F1,4 AF is an autofocus 85 mm prime for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its f/1.4 aperture leaves room to work in poor light and to separate the subject from the background.

Optics and rendering

The optical design uses 13 elements in 8 groups, with a 12-blade diaphragm that keeps out-of-focus highlights round. The aperture runs from f/1.4 to f/16, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.98 m.

Handling and build

Focus is handled by a quiet STM stepping motor, suiting both stills and video. The filter thread is 77 mm and it weighs about 735 g.
