The Tilta TA-T08-FCC Full Camera Cage (Tactical Gray) is a lightweight yet ultra-rigid armor system for the RED KOMODO / KOMODO-X, wrapping the camera with connected side and bottom plates, a secure top plate with cold shoe, four ARRI rosettes, abundant 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threads, and a quick-release interface for Tilta’s dedicated 15mm LWS baseplate – the perfect balance of minimal bulk and maximum rigging versatility.

The Tilta TA-T08-FCC transforms the tiny RED KOMODO into a fully featured cinema rig without sacrificing its compact advantage. The cage consists of a top plate that screws directly to the camera body (with integrated cold shoe + 1/4"-20 points), left/right side panels and a bottom plate that provides dozens of anti-twist mounting threads for perfect gimbal balance. Four ARRI-standard rosettes (two per side) accept Tilta wooden handles, extension arms, or third-party rosette accessories. A dedicated quick-release adapter plate (sold separately) lets the cage snap onto Tilta’s 15mm LWS baseplate for KOMODO in seconds. Every surface is covered in 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with ARRI locating pins, making it ideal for monitors, recorders, focus motors, top handles and NATO accessories.
