The Tilta TA-T08-APM Advanced Power Distribution Module is a professional, feature-rich power solution designed specifically for the RED KOMODO. This module adapts the camera’s dual Canon BP battery slots to support a Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plate in three orientations: Horizontal Gold Mount, Horizontal V-Mount, or Vertical V-Mount. When using V-Mount batteries, the module enables full communication with the RED KOMODO, allowing the camera to display accurate remaining battery life as a percentage. It provides a precise reporting range:

• 100% at 16V and above
• 0% at 12V, perfectly aligning with typical battery behavior

For batteries capable of discharging below 12V, the module will shut off power early—but the difference in runtime is minimal and helps preserve long-term battery health. The module also includes an integrated KOMODO EXT cable that plugs directly into the camera’s EXT port, unlocking expanded functionality such as Run/Stop, Timecode, and Genlock through dedicated ports. Its 3-Pin Fischer R/S port allows simultaneous Run/Stop triggering and power delivery to accessories such as the Tilta Nucleus-M via an optional Fischer R/S cable.
