RED DSMC H2O OLPF

The DSMC H2O OLPF (optical low-pass filter) is designed and optimized for use in underwater applications. Use this OLPF in a compatible EPIC DRAGON or SCARLET DRAGON camera and waterproof housing to capture optimal footage in aquatic environments. This OLPF is engineered to overcome the challenges of capturing underwater footage at varying depth and lighting levels. It is fine-tuned to produce optimal colors in both shallow and deeper water, where lighting conditions can vary tremendously. Utilizing the DSMC H2O OLPF results in footage that is balanced across the color spectrum—regardless of depth—offering you unmatched exposure performance and freedom for grading in post. The DSMC H2O OLPF ships in a protective case. Note: The DSMC Interchangeable OLPF system requires that your DSMC is on firmware v5.2.28 or later. In adition, your EPIC DRAGON or SCARLET DRAGON camera MUST BE compatible with the DSMC Interchangeable OLPF system to use this OLPF. Before you can use an interchangeable OLPF, you must send your BRAIN in to RED to be modified for the DSMC Interchangeable OLPF system. New EPIC DRAGONs and SCARLET DRAGONs, manufactured on or after October 3rd, 2014, ship with the interchangeable OLPF system and do not need to be sent to RED for this upgrade.
