With a close focusing distance of 0.45m, the Simera 50mm allows the user to discover the nuances of the subject with exceptional detail. The subtle resistance at 0.7m on the focusing ring provides tactile feedback to intuitively indicate when the rangefinder can no longer focus and the EVF (electronic viewfinder) should be used instead for optimal focus accuracy.
