The Bond Backpack is a comprehensive and professional HEVC/H.264 streaming solution for those seeking the best signal reception and video quality.

High-span antennas
Wireless reception for Teradek Node modems is greatly enhanced by two high dispersion antennas attached to the inside of the backpack.

Gold or V Mout plate
Choose between Gold mount, V-mount or no battery plate for portable power. In the event that the battery runs out the Cube's internal Li-on battery will provide 5 minutes of operation to replace the battery - a hot swap.

Node modems
Each backpack supports up to 5 USB or Teradek Node modems, keeping you connected wherever you are.

Integrated cables with locking mechanism
To keep you tidy,Teradek has integrated several cables with locking mechanisms to attach your connection encoder to each Node modem to make sure your system will always work, even if you drop your backpack.

AVC Bonding Codec
At the heart of the Bond Backpack is the Cube encoder, a high profile AVC encoder that supports bitrates up to 15 Mbps, both HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs, and a boot-to-live time of just 20 seconds. HEVC encoders are also available. See Bond 759.

Active cooling
To keep everything running optimally, we've integrated a virtually silent fan to keep hot air outside and cool air inside.

Ergonomic weatherproof design
The Bond Backpack is ergonomic, lightweight and durable in a variety of weather conditions. Nylon straps on the shoulder straps of the backpack hold cables along the shoulder.
