The bars on both sides allow you to start using the hand controls right away. Both rods can be adjusted in height and position around the camera, and one side can even be removed completely if not needed. All camera connections, buttons, dials and battery cover remain fully accessible. Our custom pinch hot shoe connects the camera into one solid unit with the cage. A multitude of 1/4"-20 mounting threads allow you to assemble the entire kit to suit your needs. This cage is very lightweight and compatible with Canon 80D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 30D, 6D, 7D, 7D MarkII, 5D MarkII, 5D MarkIII, 5DS, 5DS R, Nikon D7000, D7100, D7200, D300S, D610, DF, Sony A99, and of course almost all mid-size DSLR cameras on the market. The height of the raw bars is 145 mm, the width of this cage is 196 mm
