Reflecmedia Chromatte

Reflecmedia Chromatte is a special fabric designed for keying and compared to classic keying backgrounds which are either blue or green - Chromatte works on a different retro-reflective principle. This process has a number of major advantages over classic keying methods. Several dimensions are available.

Chromatte is a special substance designed for use in the production of "chroma key", i.e. keying. Unlike conventional chroma keys, which are usually green or blue, Reflecmedia Chromatte is visible to the human eye as silver. However, the substance contains millions of tiny spheres that act as reflective surfaces and return the incident light back to the source.

Reflecmedia Chromatte is available in an elegant range of standard sizes or in custom sizes. This fabric has a black opaque layer of fabric on the back, and the top of the backdrop contains metal eyelets for easy hanging on a steel rope or studio rail system. In addition to the standard ready-made sizes (see below), bespoke sizes (1m x 1m) or fabric in a 1.4m wide roll are also available on request.
