STORM Mobile is an editing box connected via PCI Express or Express34 interface, allowing you to edit HDMI and analog video on your desktop or laptop

Many conventional HD editing systems compromise between video quality and realtime functionality. STORM Mobile delivers a truly realtime HD system including full resolution, full frame rate editing and editing, with full HD output over HDMI directly from the timeline. It comes in 8ch variants with a full-featured external breakout box or 5.1/4" panel in the front of a PC case and a full version of the EDIUS editing application. With STORM Mobile you can work with HDMI and analog video and audio. STORM Mobile provides a constantly synchronized full preview of effects and content directly from the EDIUS timeline. With EDIUS, the loader codec can be XDCAM compatible MPEG-2, P2 compatible AVC-Intra or Grass Valley HQ. With the perfect combination of software and hardware, STORM Mobile can handle any combination of HD and SD video with an unlimited number of image, audio, title and graphics layers with any combination of realtime effects
