BirdDog OG4 provides full support for Dashboard, the freely available OpenGear control software for MacOS, Windows, and Linux. The SFP+ port (industry standard) enables short, medium, and long-distance optical connections and supports Ethernet protocols from 1GbE to 10GbE.
The device supports all video formats up to 4Kp60 (including all HD formats). In encoding mode, up to four 4Kp60 channels can be processed simultaneously, while in decoding mode, a maximum of two 4Kp60 channels or four 4Kp30 or 1080p60 channels can be processed simultaneously. Each channel offers independent control of frame rate and resolution.
openGear frames are equipped with integrated fans for optimal cooling of all cards. They can be equipped with two redundant power supplies, enabling very high reliability and long operating times.
