This 5" HD monitor without recording function is designed especially for DSLR/DSLM cameras and small cameras thanks to its very low weight (173 g without battery) and Micro HDMI input. It features a high dot density touch screen for perfect focus preview and a special backlight for perfect viewing even in harsh sunlight.

Highly illuminated, crisp display
The SmallHD Focus camera monitor features a sharp, high brightness screen (800 cd/m2) for trouble-free operation even in bright sunlight and perfect focus preview. The backlight intensity can also be reduced if you are working indoors or in twilight/night. Compared to most integrated displays, the SmallHD Focus offers 2-3x higher luminance, plus its screen has a higher pixel density than the iPad with Retina display! Touch controls make it easy to navigate menus and adjust the device



Easy installation and power supply
The included arm allows the display to rotate 180° (perfect for vlogs, etc.) and attaches to the flash socket or with a 1/4"-20 screw. In addition, the arm is equipped with an additional socket for e.g. microphone mounting. The manufacturer SmallHD also thought about the ever decreasing battery life of modern DSLR/DSLM devices - the Focus monitor is equipped with a power output that allows to power the camera/camcorder with the monitor's battery (standard Sony L type). This can mean up to four times longer battery life!



Professional features
The touch controls and monitor functions are taken from the higher end SmallHD models. There are functions for false color display, signal waveform measurement, focus assist, 3D LUT correction (can be imported from SD card) or Pixel Zoom function for image magnification.
