Chrosziel MagNum (Accessories)

The field-proven lens control system from Chrozsiel! MagNum is an affordable way to enter professional, precise lens remote control. Its unique ergonomics has been developed together wit camera assistants. Transmits in the 2.4 GHz band, which is worldwide liberalized. Besides the focus pulling various additional features, such as Frequency Spectrum Analyzer, shows the best operating channel. Two different spreadings can be memorized and are recalled by the push of a button. The system offers 16 frequency channels in the range of 2,4 GHz and 433 MHz, focus, iris, zoom (depending on the number of channels) and start/stop control, USB / serial interfaces, BNC socket for cable or antenna, and is also compatible with wired operation.

The Hand Unit
This remote lens control system was ergonomically and functionally optimized in cooperation with actual users. It is offered in three variations: the basic model with one motor channel (MN-101), a two-motor channel version with an upgrade option for a slider, not included with the hand unit (MN-150), as well as the fully equipped 2-motor channel version (MN-200). Additional modules expand the MN-150 or MN-200 with up to two other motor channels, and enhanced broadcast capabilities.



Modular & Mini
Modules for up to 4 Motor channels and for Broadcast. With the concept of extension modules, Chrosziel offers innovation with MagNum. The MagNum Extension Module Motor and Lens Port (MN-EXT-MOT-LP) offers up to 3-motor channels and a camera lens port interface for universal use in Cine and Broadcast applications. The Extension Module Motor (AL2-EXT-MOT) rates the MN-200R on up to 4 motor channels for 3D or Specialty application users. The new MagNum Mini is a small-sized motor controller, perfectly suited for Gimbal, Handheld, Drone and Steadicam shots!



Zoom Rocker
The Chrosziel Zoom Rocker (MN-ZR) combines mechanical stepless zooming for precise zoom control and contactless signal transmission reducing the risk of water, dust or dirt entering the MagNum Hand Unit. For maximum protection and best ergonomic use, the Zoom Rocker is mounted on the back of your MagNum Hand Unit MN-150T or MN-200T. The Zoom Rocker is cable free and transmits the zoom signal without power consumption. The zoom speed is set by varying the angle of the rocker. Due to the use of latest CAD-optimized design, the rocker can be operated with one or two fingers. The MagNum Firmware integrates comfort functions like Zoom Speed, Zoom Zap, Software Zoom Limits, Zoom Soft Stop and Zoom Bar. The Chrosziel Zoom Rocker is compatible with the MagNum Hand Unit MN-150T and MN-200T, manufactured 2016 or newer. Older models of the MagNum Hand Unit MN-150T or MN-200T can be upgraded for compatibility (MN-ZR-UP). The MagNum Hand Unit MN-100T is not compatibel with the Chrosziel Zoom Rocker.



Digital Motor CDM-100
With the new Digital Motor CDM-100, Chrosziel developed an extremely light weight, silent, small and horizontally aligned lens motor. It perfectly suites many major photo, broadcast and cine lenses. The CDM-100 is supplied in the kits, and can also be ordered separately. For years, Chrosziel relied on the quality and the performance of the manufacturers' Hedén Engineering Co. and betz-tools GmbH for engines. These engines are also supplied in the kits for MagNum, and can also be ordered separately. MagNum is, of course, also compatible with other manufacturers such as ARRI CLM4, Indicam, Scorpio, Preston, RED Technica or similar digital encoder motors.
